Converted existing commercial bank with office suites in multi-story high rise building to commercial kitchen, restaurant with open dining, bar and micro-brewery. Existing Air Handler and VAV system serving the building was capped and sealed to isolate restaurant fumes from migrating back to Air Handler and other tenant spaces. DEC served as a sub-consultant to Walt Conwell Architects providing mechanical and plumbing construction design and construction administrative services.

Design Features

  • New 64-ton VRF heat recovery system with multiple fan coil units.
  • New kitchen grease exhaust and make-up air systems.
  • New dishwasher exhaust system with stainless steel ductwork.
  • All new air distribution.
  • New controls.
  • All new grease waste piping, vent and grease interceptor located in parking garage level.
  • New gas service
  • Upsized water service with sub-metering.
